This musician, originally born in Switzerland charmed me when I had been studying at college. Ask my roommates, who had to suffer long hours listening to this music

Portishead…

“revived” band from the town of the same name, located near the Bristol. It is another of my really favourite bands when I was in my college years – ask my roommates, how much did they suffer from unwiling listening to this music .

Although I still do not like their new album The Third too much, I really enjoy their older songs – so I picked my favourite ones – just for you…

Hooverphonic..

is a band from Belgium, which is still one of my most favourite bands. I really enjoyed them during my college years. And still, when I have the right mood, I put them into my cd player and submerge into this hypnotic music…

So – shall we listen?

are (or better were) a UK electronic band, which became famous with their single Spybreak, used in the famous Matrix lobby scene.

Sneaker Pimps

Well, here we have another of my favourite bands – British Sneaker Pimps! (Thanks Alice!)

Their music is mostly marked as electropop, but that could be slightly misleading. But still, they have been using electronic sounds and effects quite a lot.

The Cinematic Orchestra
